Ranges Studio grew from a simple belief: young people develop best when imagination leads and their voices are welcomed.
Over many years working in classrooms, creative spaces, and school productions, one thing became clear. The moments that matter most are not only the polished performances and big finales. They are the quieter breakthroughs. A child finding their voice. A hesitant student choosing to step forward. A room softening as confidence begins to unfold.
When imagination leads, confidence follows.
Ranges Studio exists to make room for those moments.
Young people are encouraged to play, tell stories, move, listen, and create, discovering communication and expression in ways that feel natural and joyful. Confidence grows through shared experiences, creativity, and connection.
My career in Speech & Dramatic Arts spans more than 25 years across teaching, children’s entertainment, and large-scale school productions. I’ve worked across early learning, primary, and secondary settings, in both educational and creative environments, including Melbourne Grammar, the Dublin Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Braemar College in the beautiful Macedon Ranges.
One thing has remained constant throughout my work: creativity doesn’t look the same for everyone. At Ranges Studio, I draw on my background as an educator to design thoughtful, supportive programs that honour different voices and learning styles. Young people are given time, encouragement, and space to find their own way, in an environment where it’s okay to be silly, curiosity is welcomed, and communication grows naturally.
